East African Aquatech Drilling Company has been drilling for UNICEF South Sudan since 2011. The company has drilled over 150 boreholes for UNICEF in different locations of South Sudan, providing much-needed safe water for both emergency and development situations.
The work of the company during the contract period has been very satisfactory. Information was shared with our field offices, and UNICEF was informed of any issues that could delay the set deadlines. The company shared all information during site meetings.
The company employed qualified technicians and used good quality materials and equipment during the contract execution. We commend East Africa Aquatech Drilling for the tremendous efforts made to complete the assigned boreholes despite high insecurity in most villages where the drilling sites were located.
East Africa Aquatech nurtured good partnerships with the target communities and provided training to community water committees, which has been instrumental in the sustainability of the water points. Their work has been of high quality, and the borehole logs submitted provided adequate information.
UNICEF has retained a two-year Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with East Africa Aquatech for future drilling contracts. We are happy to recommend them for drilling and water systems contracts. Please feel free to contact the undersigned for more information.
